I use the Photoimpession 4 in windows 8 by leaving it in the CD drive, opening the file and creating a short cut to desk top from the Photoimpression logo. It works, you just can't save anything. If you do, like a Get Photo from a scanner you need to delete from the folder in Photo impression, reload into the CD etc. I use Nikon View 6 for the organizer and click edit with other programs and put a link to the desk top Photoimpression short cut. Glad it works, I have tried Corel, Adobe, PhotoExplosion, GIMP, and about 5 or 6 other free trials but nothing is as simple. Picasa comes close but i do 30 page reports with 100+ photos and all those extra 'clicks' adds up.
